Who We Are

We are a completely grassroots organized group of Baker county residents that are passionate about bringing passenger rail back to NE Oregon by aiming to get Amtrak’s old Pioneer Route restored.

We represent and advocate for no one other than the residents of Baker county.

We believe that it is possible to restore this service at no cost to Oregon residents, since there is already money available from the federal government (via the BIL) that has been directed to go towards the restoration or expansion of passenger service in America.

Our Goal

Our goal is to make sure that Baker County’s voice is heard and that the need for passenger rail service in our area is fully understood and considered when deciding where the BIL federal money is to be invested.
